1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all commissioned artwork created by Callum Moorse (“the Artist”). By placing an order for a portrait, the client agrees to the terms outlined below.

Each portrait is individually hand-drawn in graphite and/or charcoal and created as a bespoke piece of artwork based on the reference images provided by the client.

2. Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to secure a commission booking.

Work will not commence until the deposit has been received.

The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the artwork and prior to dispatch.

The final artwork remains the property of the Artist until full payment has been received.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Any quoted price is valid for 30 days from the date issued.

3. Cancellations

If a client chooses to cancel before work has commenced, the deposit may be refunded at the Artist’s discretion.

Once work has begun, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

If a commission is cancelled after completion, full payment is required.

Due to the bespoke nature of commissioned artwork, refunds are not available once the artwork has been completed.

4. Timeframes

Estimated completion times will be provided at the time of booking. Timeframes may vary depending on workload and complexity.

Clients will be informed of any significant delays.

The Artist is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside of their control.

5. Revisions

A preview image of the completed portrait will be provided before final payment.

One minor revision may be requested at this stage.

Requests for significant alterations, changes to pose, expression, or composition may incur an additional charge.

Changes to reference images after work has commenced may require a revised quotation.

6. Reference Images

Clients are responsible for providing clear, high-resolution reference photographs.

The quality of the final artwork is dependent on the quality of the reference image supplied.

The Artist is not responsible for limitations resulting from low-quality or unclear photographs.

7. Artistic Style

The client acknowledges that they are commissioning artwork in the Artist’s established style.

While every effort is made to achieve likeness and detail, artistic interpretation remains at the Artist’s discretion.

8. Copyright & Usage

The Artist retains full copyright of all artwork created.

The Artist reserves the right to use images of completed artwork for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes.

Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the artwork without prior written permission.

9. Shipping

Completed artwork will be securely packaged for dispatch.

Shipping costs will be confirmed prior to final payment.

Once dispatched, responsibility transfers to the courier. The Artist is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by postal services, although reasonable assistance will be provided where possible.
